Eggs: The new Superfood

http://www.worldpoultry.net/news/eggs-the-new-superfood-7391.html

Eggs can help you to lose weight and stay fit and healthy. In fact, eggs should be considered a "superfood", according to a new study carried out by dietician and public health nutritionist, Dr Carrie Ruxton.

The research paper, due to be published in Nutrition & Food Science Journal in June, confirms that eggs are a rich source of protein, as well as several essential nutrients, particularly vitamin D, vitamin B12, selenium and choline.

As well as being one of the most nutrient dense foods, Dr Ruxton’s findings also show that eating eggs helps a person feel fuller for longer and can therefore help with weight management and better diet quality. The antioxidants found in egg yolk may also help prevent age-related macular degeneration, an eye condition that can lead to blindness.

New Hover Brooder-updated Nov 26

Pictures today are of one of my two new brooders......

4 feet by 4 feet

sides are 12 inches each and the legs extend 12 inches below the sides......

The advantage are that the chicks go under it if they are cold......or out from under if not, as it has a solid top, the raising heat has nowhere to go......

The full story about where it came from and how it works can be found here..........
